CAMPAÑA estatal "¿Teva? No, gracias". Desde el 1 de Marzo al 1 de Diciembre de 2026

MANIFIESTO DE LA CAMPAÑA ¿Teva? No, gracias.

Las organizaciones, colectivos y movimientos sociales comprometidos con los derechos humanos, abajo firmantes, promovemos esta campaña de boicot contra la farmacéutica Teva como medida de solidaridad con el pueblo palestino y por el fin del apartheid, la ocupación y el genocidio en Palestina. 

Lanzamos esta iniciativa para devolver a la sociedad civil el poder que los gobiernos le han negado frente al exterminio palestino. 

Israel es una entidad sionista ocupante que está cometiendo un genocidio en Palestina. Solo desde el 7 de octubre de 2023, Israel ha asesinado a más de 70.000 personas, aunque se estima que las cifras reales podrían ser diez veces mayores. La esperanza de vida en Gaza ha disminuido de 76 a 41 años, más de 22.000 niños y niñas han sido asesinados y hay decenas de miles de huérfanos. Israel ha destruido el 92% de las viviendas y sometido a un asedio completo a Gaza, bloqueando la entrada de comida, agua, productos sanitarios, repuestos y combustible. 

El movimiento Boicot, Desinversión y Sanciones (BDS) es un movimiento de liderazgo palestino por la libertad, la justicia y la igualdad. Inspirado en el movimiento anti-apartheid sudafricano, insta a actuar para presionar a Israel a que respete el derecho internacional.

El BDS identifica a Teva como uno de los objetivos prioritarios para realizar boicot económico a Israel.  

Teva es una empresa farmacéutica israelí, líder en el mercado de genéricos en Europa. En el estado español, en 2023, Teva fue por volumen de ventas al Sistema Nacional de Salud, el tercer laboratorio a nivel nacional, con 70 millones de envases y más de 500 millones de euros en ventas. En 2024, según la propia corporación, obtuvo unos ingresos de 16.500 millones de dólares por su actividad en todo el mundo.  Existen multitud de contratos de suministros de estos fármacos a centros sanitarios en el territorio español. 

Teva financia a Israel, régimen que lleva a cabo la ocupación, el apartheid y el genocidio en Palestina. Esto lo realiza mediante pago de impuestos y otras formas de financiación. 

Teva se beneficia de la ocupación ilegal, del sistema de apartheid y del mercado cautivo, ya que goza de posiciones privilegiadas en el mercado farmacéutico de los territorios palestinos ocupados. Israel controla y limita la importación y exportación de medicamentos y permite a empresas israelíes operar sin pagar aranceles ni enfrentar restricciones en los puntos fronterizos de control. Esto le permite a Teva comercializar ampliamente sus productos farmacéuticos en estos territorios, compitiendo de manera directa y desleal con el resto de empresas farmacéuticas, incluidas las palestinas, a las que a su vez Israel dificulta su desarrollo y crecimiento. 

Teva  muestra un abierto apoyo y colaboración con el genocidio que está perpetrando Israel: al menos un 10% de su plantilla en Israel se ha unido al ejército, ha donado material a las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel, sus sedes se han establecido como espacios de recolecta de materiales para los soldados y en sus oficinas tienen colocados carteles que muestran apoyos al ejército, entre otras acciones de soporte al ejército israelí.

El boicot es una herramienta legítima e histórica. Hacer boicot a empresas que sustentan a un régimen que perpetra crímenes contra la Humanidad es una obligación moral, ética y legal ineludible. Y lo es aún más cuando un negocio sanitario como es el de Teva es parte de un sistema que extermina a las personas palestinas. 

Por todo ello, las organizaciones firmantes pedimos:

1. A la ciudadanía: que pida activamente alternativas a Teva, en las recetas y en las farmacias.

2. A profesionales de la salud: que no prescriban Teva cuando existan equivalentes. Romper la cadena de complicidad desde la consulta. 

3. A las farmacias: que no comercialicen o dispensen Teva. Priorizar otros laboratorios no manchados con sangre palestina.

4. A administraciones públicas, hospitales y otros compradores institucionales: que no escojan a Teva como proveedor en sus compras públicas y licitaciones sanitarias.

5. A colectivos, organizaciones y movimientos sociales: que firmen este manifiesto como acto de adhesión a la campaña y lo difundan entre sus colectivos y en la sociedad en general desde sus ámbitos de actuación.

Join the national campaign to boycott the pharmaceutical company that finances the genocide and the apartheid in Palestine. * This Campaign will be active from March 1st to December 1st, 2026.

 

MANIFESTO OF THE CAMPAIGN “Teva? No, thanks.”

 

The undersigned organizations, collectives, and social movements committed to human rights are promoting this boycott campaign against the pharmaceutical company Teva as a measure of solidarity with the Palestinian people and for the end of apartheid, occupation, and genocide in Palestine.

 

We are launching this initiative to return to civil society the power that governments have denied it in the face of the Palestinian extermination. Israel is an occupying Zionist entity that is committing genocide in Palestine.

 

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed more than 70,000 people, although the actual figures are estimated to be ten times higher.

 

Life expectancy in Gaza has fallen from 76 to 41 years, more than 22,000 children have been killed, and tens of thousands have been orphaned.

 

Israel has destroyed 92% of homes and imposed a complete siege on Gaza, blocking the entry of food, water, hygiene products, spare parts, and fuel.

 

The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement is a Palestinian-led movement for freedom, justice, and equality. Inspired by the South African anti-apartheid movement, it urges action to pressure Israel to respect international law. BDS identifies Teva as one of its priority targets for an economic boycott of Israel.

 

Teva is an Israeli pharmaceutical company and a leader in the European generics market. In Spain, in 2023, Teva was the third largest pharmaceutical company in the country in terms of sales volume to the National Health System, with 70 million packages and over €500 million in sales.

 

In 2024, according to the corporation itself, it generated revenues of $16.5 billion from its global operations.

 

There are numerous contracts for the supply of these drugs to healthcare facilities in Spain.

 

Teva finances Israel, the regime that carries out occupation, apartheid, and genocide in Palestine. It does so through tax payments and other forms of funding. Teva benefits from the illegal occupation, the apartheid system, and the captive market, as it enjoys privileged positions in the pharmaceutical market of the occupied Palestinian territories.

 

Israel controls and restricts the import and export of medicines and allows Israeli companies to operate without paying tariffs or facing restrictions at border checkpoints. This allows Teva to widely market its pharmaceutical products in these territories, competing directly and unfairly with other pharmaceutical companies, including Palestinian ones, whose development and growth are in turn hindered by Israel.

 

Teva openly supports and collaborates with the genocide being perpetrated by Israel: at least 10% of its workforce in Israel has joined the army, it has donated equipment to the Israel Defense Forces, its headquarters have been established as collection points for soldiers' supplies, and its offices display signs showing support for the army, among other actions supporting the Israeli military.

 

The boycott is a legitimate and historical tool. Boycotting companies that support a regime that perpetrates crimes against humanity is an unavoidable moral, ethical, and legal obligation. This is even more true when a healthcare business like Teva is part of a system that exterminates Palestinians.

 

Therefore, the undersigned organizations call upon:

 

The public: to actively request alternatives to Teva, both on prescriptions and at pharmacies. Healthcare professionals: not to prescribe Teva when equivalents exist. Break the chain of complicity from the consultation room.

Pharmacies: not to market or dispense Teva. Prioritize other laboratories not stained with Palestinian blood.

Public administrations, hospitals, and other institutional buyers: not to choose Teva as a supplier in their public purchases and healthcare tenders.

Groups, organizations, and social movements: to sign this manifesto as an act of support for the campaign and disseminate it among their members and in society at large within their spheres of action.
