ESPAÑOL 15 junio 2025 Diferentes movilizaciones en ciudades de todo el mundo están exigiendo a las autoridades egipcias que dejen de bloquear la Marcha Global a Gaza, que intenta llegar hasta el cruce fronterizo de Rafah para romper el bloqueo israelí y hacer que la ayuda humanitaria llegue a los gazatíes. Y es que el Gobierno egipcio ha impedido por todos los medios que la marcha se acerque a la frontera con Palestina. Durante los últimos días la policía ha cargado contra varios grupos de activistas y ha detenido y deportado a decenas de personas, también a miembros de una delegación que salió desde Euskal Herria. «Allí, aunque hayan sufrido palizas policiales, deportaciones, detenciones..., tienen la firme intención de continuar con la marcha. Porque saben que los gobernantes del mundo no van a parar el genocidio israelí». ENGLISH 15 June 2025 Many participants in the Global March to Gaza have vowed to remain in Cairo and make another attempt to reach the Rafah border crossing, despite arrests, deportations and violent confrontations with Egyptian authorities who say they did not obtain permission for their show of solidarity with the war-battered Palestinian territory. Some activists posted videos on social media to urge others to stay in the Egyptian capital and continue their mission of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. “If you're in Cairo, stay here. Do not leave," said one. "We came to Egypt with the promise that we would break the blockade and bring humanitarian aid to the border. Being stopped one time is not failure. We will be able to do what we have set out to accomplish." Another activist emphasised the symbolic importance of breaking through state barriers to show solidarity with Gazans, who are suffering daily Israeli attacks, starvation and displacement in the genocide in Gaza, now in its 21st month. “The whole purpose of this march is to show Palestinians inside Gaza that they are not alone,” he said. “People on the outside, ordinary people, are here for them. We are trying to break through these barriers to send a message: the war must end.” The march, known in Arabic as Masirat Al Ahrar (March of the Free), aimed to bring together thousands of pro-Palestine activists from 54 countries to deliver a message of solidarity with Gazans and demand an end to Israel's blockade of the territory. However, their efforts were met with significant resistance from Egyptian authorities, who intensified security measures and detained hundreds of participants. Egyptian security officials told on Sunday that nearly 500 foreign activists had been deported, of whom more than 200 were sent home on arrival at Cairo airport. The remainder were detained just outside the Suez Canal city of Ismailia before they were put on buses and taken to Cairo airport from where they left the country. The officials said authorities were investigating how security agencies failed to detect plans by the foreign activists to converge in Egypt to stage the march. "This apparent negligence has led to damaging scenes shared online of our policemen beating unarmed activists, dragging them to buses or just confiscating their passports," said one official.

Nous avons suivi tous les protocoles requis énoncés dans cette déclaration. Au cours des deux mois précédant la marche, les organisateurs se sont coordonnés directement avec les ambassades égyptiennes en Espagne, Suisse, France, Allemagne, Royaume-Uni, Irlande, Italie, Turquie, Grèce, Portugal, Norvège, États-Unis, Canada, Mexique, Pays-Bas, entre autres pays, ainsi qu’avec le ministère égyptien des Affaires étrangères et les autorités locales concernées, afin de demander officiellement la permission de réaliser la marche et de garantir la transparence à chaque étape.Nous espérons pouvoir fournir toute information supplémentaire que les autorités égyptiennes pourraient exiger afin de garantir que la marche puisse continuer pacifiquement jusqu’à la frontière de Rafah.Nous avons reçu des informations selon lesquelles de nombreux citoyens originaires d’Allemagne, de Suisse, d’Espagne, de France, de Turquie, de Tunisie, de Turquie et d’autres pays ont été arrêtés ou empêchés par les autorités égyptiennes au Caire, dans les aéroports ou à d’autres points d’entrée, alors qu’ils tentaient de rejoindre la Marche Mondiale vers Gaza, une initiative internationale pacifique appelant à la fin du blocus et à la crise humanitaire à Gaza.Nous appelons les autorités égyptiennes à libérer toutes les personnes détenues et à permettre l’entrée des participants à la marche, en s’alignant ainsi sur l’intérêt reconnu par l’Égypte elle-même de mettre fin au blocus et de rétablir la stabilité à sa frontière.L’Égypte a exprimé à plusieurs reprises son inquiétude face à la crise humanitaire à Gaza et aux conditions intenables du point de passage frontalier de Rafah.---La Marche Mondiale vers Gaza a rassemblé des milliers de personnes de plus de 80 pays, et en a inspiré des millions d’autres dans le monde, à travers un engagement partagé avec l’humanité. We have followed all the required protocols outlined in this declaration.
