MSF doctor James Smith told Channel 4 that approximately 3,000 children in Gaza are still being admitted to acute malnutrition programs every month, describing the situation as the cumulative result of manufactured deprivation over nearly three years.

Speaking from Gaza, Smith said around 1 million people urgently need emergency shelter, while sanitation systems have largely collapsed and sewage is spreading across the Strip.
He estimated that around 200,000 Palestinians have been wounded since the war began and said Gaza now has more child amputees than any other territory in the world.
Smith also said monitors are recording roughly 200 security incidents each week across Gaza, almost all involving Israeli military activity.
