Escrita por la dramaturga Jackie Lubeck, esta colección responde al asedio de Gaza y a las operaciones militares israelíes de 2009 a 2014, reflejando cómo los jóvenes de Gaza se enfrentan al trauma, la pérdida y la destrucción urbana.  En las 19 obras de esta antología, el lector y productor teatral es testigo de las experiencias de una juventud olvidada, asediada por una comunidad internacional silenciosa y un muro brutal. Las obras están organizadas en 5 series temáticas diferentes, que incluyen los enredos familiares, la pérdida y la bondad fundamental y el ingenio de los seres humanos.

The first anthology of youth plays from Gaza and the wider Palestinian region, this timely collection ties together 19 plays produced by Theatre Day Productions, one of the foremost community theatres in the Middle East. Written by playwright Jackie Lubeck, this collection responds to the siege on Gaza and the Israeli military operations from 2009 to 2014, reflecting how Gazan youth deal with trauma, loss, and urban destruction.  In the 19 plays within this anthology, the reader and theatrical producer witnesses experiences of a forgotten youth, besieged by a silent international community and a brutal wall. The plays are arranged into 5 different thematic series, which include family entanglements, loss, and the fundamental goodness and resourcefulness of human beings.
