The eyes of Theroux and the words of the settlers themselves.

Daniella Weiss: "No.

Update 4th May 2025 Israeli soldiers, settlers harass Palestinian activist featured in BBC film
Essential Viewing! Modern Israel’s foundation exposed - Settlers from around the globe seizing land, pushing an expansionist agenda that drives unrest today.
Louis Theroux: "But to think about other people, other children not at all? That seems sociopathic"
Daniella Weiss: "No. Not at all, this is normal"
Louis Theroux has done a great job by letting the Zionists speak openly- we see their faces and it’s going to be a revelation for those sitting on the fence and being impartial.
In exactly the same way as the early settlers didn’t care about the lives of Native Americans or the slaves on their plantation, the settlers in the West Bank do not regard the lives of Palestinians as worth anything.
And amazingly they don’t even hide it.
The Palestinians have been living under the rule of these monters for years, slowly watching their political ascendancy. The slow suffocation of the Palestinians in their own homeland has been transformed into an open genocide and still the Zionist state retains western support.
A new BBC documentary examining Israeli settlers and their treatment of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank has received widespread praise this week and shed light on the brutal reality that Palestinians experience daily.
The Settlers, created by one of Britain’s most famous documentary filmmakers, Louis Theroux, gives the viewer a glimpse into the occupied Palestinian territories beset by Israeli settlers.
Theroux meets some of the growing community of religious-nationalist Israelis who have settled in the occupied West Bank.
Told through the eyes of Theroux and the words of the settlers themselves, Theroux visits the house of the "godmother" of the Israeli settler movement, Daniella Weiss, who boasts that she can phone Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's aides. He speaks to many settlers and their interactions with the Palestinians, causing a firestorm of commentary on social media.
Many online shared clips from the documentary, criticising what they called the "daily horror" and unfair treatment of Palestinians.
the scene where, at the end of the documentary, Theroux has to hide from the Israeli army as they are looking for Palestinians.
“Theroux says, Can we ring the police? And the Palestinian laughs, saying, "There is no one who will protect them from Israel.”
Louis Theroux: The Settlers is a deathly warning
In this documentary, Theroux allows ultra-nationalist Israeli settlers to speak with perfect openness. It is chilling.
Sometimes – for instance, when an Israeli soldier takes your passport as you observe him telling a Palestinian family they cannot harvest their olives – the best thing is just to ask why, a question he deploys repeatedly in this film (it’s never answered to any great effect).
His stillness serves to underline, too, the particular energy of those he meets, a good example being Ari Abramowitz, a Texan-born settler who came to Israel aged 16 to study the Torah, and never left. Abramowitz is the founder of Arugot Farm, a desert retreat – synagogue, eco-pool, nature hikes – south of Bethlehem, and he is loud. “We were in this land planting vineyards before Mohammed was in the third grade,” he shouts, bridling at Theroux’s use of the word Palestine (he doesn’t think “it exists”). Should you visit Arugot, don’t expect Abramowitz to appear bearing a yoga mat or some essential oil. At his hip is a large gun. Un-relaxingly, it clanks when he walks.
