El mensaje es claro. Están siendo atacados incluso los derechos más básicos a la salud y la vida.
Pero no somos impotentes. Somos una comunidad mundial unida por el deber común de proteger la vida y defender la dignidad humana.
Hoy hago un llamamiento al personal sanitario, a las asociaciones médicas y a los defensores de los derechos humanos de todo el mundo a movilizarse en solidaridad con los trabajadores sanitarios palestinos.
Voy a dejar la palabra al Dr Goronga, que es muy amigo mío y defensor de los trabajadores sanitarios de todo el mundo, para que lea las reivindicaciones de los médicos contra el genocidio.

Muchas gracias. Me llamo Tinashe Goronga y soy de Zimbabue.
Reivindicaciones:
Número UNO, dejen de bombardear hospitales y atacar a profesionales de la sanidad y servicios humanitarios. La violencia contra quienes cuidan de otros debe terminar inmediatamente.
Los profesionales de la sanidad nunca deben ser un objetivo por su compromiso con la humanidad.
Número DOS, pedimos la protección de los niños en Palestina y Líbano.
Los niños soportan la mayor carga de esta tragedia y deben ser salvaguarda a toda costa sus vidas; su futuro y su bienestar deben ser una prioridad.
Número TRES, pedimos un alto el fuego inmediato y permanente y el fin del genocidio en curso para permitir la reanudación del trabajo de profesionales de la salud. No, ningún sistema sanitario puede funcionar bajo bombardeos. Un alto el fuego no es opcional, es una cuestión de vida o muerte.

Número CUATRO, apoyamos un embargo completo e inmediato de armas y la desinversión en Israel para detener la limpieza étnica de civiles y la destrucción de la asistencia sanitaria.
Debemos trabajar colectivamente para detener el flujo de armas que
alimenta estas atrocidades y hacer que los responsables rindan cuentas.
No podemos permitirnos permanecer en silencio.
El silencio es complicidad. Debemos actuar no sólo como profesionales de la salud, sino como seres humanos que valoran la vida.

Dignidad y justicia. Juntos podemos amplificar las voces silenciadas, juntos podemos oponernos a la injusticia. Juntos podemos exigir que los trabajadores sanitarios de Gaza y Cisjordania reciban el respeto y la protección que merecen.
Seamos la voz de quienes han estado esta noche junto al personal sanitario de Palestina.
Defendamos a la humanidad.

The message is clear. Even the most basic rights to health and life are under attack.
But we are not powerless. We are a global community united by a shared duty to protect life and uphold human dignity.
Today, I call on healthcare workers, medical associations, and human rights advocates worldwide
to mobilize in solidarity with the Palestinian healthcare workers.
I'm going to leave the floor to Dr. Goronga, who's a very close friend of mine and advocate for healthcare workers everywhere to read the demands from doctors against genocide.

Thank you very much. And my name is Dr. Goronga and I'm from Zimbabwe.

Number one, stop bombing hospitals and attacking health care

and aid workers. Violence against those who care for others must end immediately.

Healthcare workers should never be targeted for their commitment to humanity.

Number two, call for the protection of children in Palestine and Lebanon.

the children who bear the greatest burden of this tragedy

must be safeguarded at all costs their lives,

futures and well-being must be a priority.

Number three, call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

and end to the ongoing genocide to allow health professionals to resume.

No, no health system can function under bombardment. A ceasefire is not optional, it is a matter of life and death.

Number four, support a comprehensive and immediate embargo on weapons to Israel and divestment from Israel to stop the ethnic

cleansing of civilians and destruction of health care

We must work collectively to stop the flow of weapons for

fueling these atrocities and how perpetrators accountable.

We cannot afford to remain silent.
Silence is complicity. We must act not just as health workers, but as humans who value life.

Dignity and justice, together we can amplify the voices that are being silenced, together we can stand against injustice,
together we can demand that healthcare workers in Gaza and the West Bank receive the respect and protection they deserve.
Let us be the voice of those who have been tonight they as stand with health workers in Palestine.
Stand for humanity.
